What is PopSeal, LLC
PopSeal, LLC is a North Carolina limited liability company with the exclusive ownership of the PopSeal®, a unique and potentially game-changing innovation in beverage can top technology. Patent protection is pending for the PopSeal® invention. PopSeal® is a self-closing all aluminum re-sealable beverage can top for the beer and soft drink industry. PopSeal® could revolutionize the industry much like the original pop-top did. The industry ships over 100 billion aluminum cans annually in the United States alone, and has not been successful in commercializing any design to create a re-sealable beverage can top that is compatible with existing manufacturing and recycling methods. PopSeal, LLC is developing functional prototype can tops using the PopSeal® technology, which will be assembled on cans to fully demonstrate the technology. Once the prototype tops are successfully demonstrated, PopSeal, LLC will seek industry partners to commercialize its technology.

There are more than 100 billion beverage cans manufactured, filled and sold in the US every year. There are nearly another 500 billion cans manufactured, filled and sold internationally. A technology that saves 15% of the aluminum used in the top, and gives an in-use advantage of reseal ability should be attractive to this industry.
